The biggest hidden burden for LIV is not event costs, but the remaining value of star contracts. Investors will study those liabilities. Rahm is not rushing to return to the PGA Tour. There is no clear pathway for a player who resigned his membership and accepted LIV money. Waiting gives him leverage. Playing in Ireland is a hedge.
